High Tea with Felicity
High Tea. A chance to savour something sweet, sip high-class tea- perhaps add a cheeky bubbles- and celebrate the
niceties of life with your nearest and dearest.
For me, high tea is a chance to delve into the inner workings of some of the most awe-inspiring women I have the honour of meeting. It's a chance to pick their brains, swap stories, and share some of their magic with you. Enjoy.
There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.

Lauren Hannaford is vivacious, energetic, and a fitness inspiration. From the day I met her, I knew there was a soul sister thing happening there, and the fact that she runs her own business based on her passion just solidified what I thought of her. When I asked her to sit down with me and tell me more about herself (lured in by the promise of sweet treats, of course) she didn't hesitate.
So I took her for afternoon tea, and as we indulged in sandwiches and savouries and scones, she told me a little more about what makes Lauren be Lauren. Enjoy.
Lynette Carroll Bolton is someone who follows her heart and her beliefs, and spreads her infectious sunshine energy wherever she goes. A mum of two, with multiple passion points and a great sense of adventure, she has long been a woman of inspiration to me. She leapt at the invitation to enjoy some one-on-one time with me at High Tea (slightly different to doing it with two little girls and a bunch of stuffed animals!), and we happily devoured our lunchtime treat.
Delving into what makes Lynette tick was a great experience- & I’m excited to share it with you. Dive in!
Brooke Lockett is the stuff of my six-year-old self's dreams. Confident, strong, and graceful, she is just as a young girl imagines a ballerina to be. She has a gentleness that exudes from her, but a killer wit and a level head on her shoulders that make her a truly captivating young woman. Meeting with her was a fabulous experience (and the little girl inside me did wiggly can't-sit-still dances all over the place), and the whole afternoon left me with a smile on my face.
I'm so excited to share my interview with Brooke. I hope you savour it as I did.
Alexis Farley holds a special place in my heart, for a very special reason- her family was my last nanny family, before I made the decision to devote myself to my business. She is a mother, a leader, and an incredibly intelligent businesswoman, with both law and journalism degrees under her belt. Her drive, her passion, and her calm nature combined to bring her to where she is today- at the head of a female-led company bringing change to small businesses, and everyday women alike. It was a joy to bring her story to you.
Gabrielle Tozer is a breath of imaginative air. From the moment we met, I felt like I’d known her for years. She is bright, witty, and as a fellow Aquarian, just as mad about things as I am! She is the epitome of following a childhood dream into fruition. Diving into who she is, and how she does what she does was invigorating, and gave a great insight into a world of creativity that will truly never die. She gifted me her books, and as I write this, I’m halfway through the third one! Enjoy reading along.
Alexis Teasdale is bright, bubbly, kind, and a highly passionate creative. From her editorial work through to her creative side-business, she embraces the joy of being alive, and her energy is invigorating. She leads a female-strong team and gives readers an opportunity to celebrate their most special moments through advice, inspiration, content, and a place to share their stories. Our own wedding experience with the Cosmo Bride team was a joy, and having Alexis join me for High Tea was nothing short of delightful.
I first met Libby Davies when we were both finalists for the Telstra Business Women's Awards. Her poise, dignity, and passion for the cause she works for humbles me completely. She devotes her time to campaigning against one of society's biggest travesties, and yet she never loses her warmth, her sense of humour, or her lust for life. I have the utmost respect for Libby, and sitting down with her to talk about what brought her to where she is was an enriching experience.
